This little record started its life in a hospital bed some 12 years ago in 2012.
It is finally completed and available to purchase and experience in 2024.
It is not a sad record with sad songs, it is a way out through whimsy and imagination.
“I lost my 3 guiding poles, my best friend, my mentor and my soul mate. I lost my body and my career. I lost who i was and could never be again and i didn’t know what to believe, but i knew i had to believe in something. I also knew i had to find myself.”
Writing this material enabled me to discover that i can choose what I believe in. And no matter how long or far or lost out to sea we all may become, there is a way back.
It also taught me that beautiful things come from dark places and that one can craft a piece much like a nursery rhyme. Wherein, “You get all the dark yucky stuff and wrap it up in a simple light hearted melody and use an analogy that is whimsical and imaginative.
The songs are unusual and the format is weird but then again so are we all. So take a punt and come get “Lost out to Sea” with me and you never know, you might even enjoy it.
